One year down....

Well my friends this exact day last year we received the keys to our new house (after living with my brother for 2 months). It was a long journey buying a house and finding the best possible one for our family. We looked and looked and looked and then we found a beautiful 3 bedroom condo and when we were originally looking we said NO CONDOS... but the more we thought about it we decided a condo would be perfect NO LAWN TO MOW, NO LEAVES TO RAKE (for me that is since Riley is always gone). This condo just kept pulling at us and pulling at us and we walked through it probably  3 or 4 times before we decided to put an offer in... We got the place and then had the long waiting for the rural loan to go through like 2 months waiting. But once it happened we were ready.

We got the keys and instantly were painting and cleaning.

Since then we have taken it room by room and very slowly are changing things and making them they way we want. We have all had a birthday in this new house, had our first Christmas in the new house and several other fun memories. (oh also we had to get a new AC unit)

Eagle Mountain has been great for us. We got on several walks a day to the gas station to one of the many many many parks around or the the splash pad. There are several trails everywhere and perfect for bike riding to farther parks. We have great friends that we spend all afternoon and nights with just riding bikes or playing in the water.

We love living in Eagle Mountain. Our kids have amazing friends with amazing parents and we have made amazing friends. It is such a young area that everyone is in our situation with young kids it is so fun. We look forward to the next 5 years out here and to see all the fun people we will get to meet.

life at the Creps 2014

Well my friends it has been a long process to decide to get a new blog. Difficulties with the last one and readers i prefer not to mention reading it. So to start off I would like to say a lot has happened since the move to a new blog, so I will hit a couple key points and start from there.
We LOVE living in Eagle Mountain we have made greatest friends out here and are sad to say one of them is moving already. But at least they have a couple weekends they are planning on coming back for a couple different weekends.
Our house is coming along nicely. The decorating and shifting process is taking a while but thats ok im taking it one room at a time!! We have had to buy a new AC unit since we are on the top floor the original one was not taken care of properly by the first owners so it went out fast and we were dying of heat. So naturally we needed a new one and it seems to be working good.
Riley officially is 2 weeks away from finishing his first year at University of Utah and can now apply for the Electrical Engineering Program (which his advisor said he will get it if he passes his summer class, which he will). We are so excited to be getting into the program and for him to be taking all the fun and exciting classes he is so ready to be done with all the general classes. He still has 4 more years till his graduation he could finish in 3 years but we want to make sure the load isn’t to hard on him. So he is only going to take 8-10 credits a semester. But we are excited to know there is an end.
Me on the other hand started the year out working at my job Millennial Falls Reception Center and just recently quit do to differences with the owners and disrespect from them. I do miss the job and the brides but i love being home with my kids and not having every friday, saturday and sunday booked for the whole summer.
The kids are doing great getting big (kind of) Brad will be 2 next month which is so weird for me to think about and Anna will be 5 in September. Anna has another year of preschool before she enters Kindergarten and she is so excited for her new preschool.
That is us to catch you up and hopefully i will be better about posting our life events on the blog.
